At UEA CC, we look to participate in regular, competititve race events, across all disciplines of cycling.

First and foremost, British Universities and Colleges Sport host a number of competitions throughout the year, allowing our riders to test themselves against some of the best student athletes in the country. Through BUCS, we have the opportunity to participate in:

- 10 Mile Time Trial

- 25 Mile Time Trial

- 3 Up Team Time Trial

- Hill Climb

- Road Race

- Track Championships

- Down Hill Mountain Biking

In addition to Univerisity organised events, we also participate regularly in the local racing scene...

During the summer, we are extremely lucky to have a regular race series on our door step with the Lotus Race League taking place at the Lotus test centre in Hethal, only a few miles from campus. Additionally, there is also a strong time trialling culture in Norfolk and there is the opportunity to participate in 'club 10s' on a weekly basis.

Away from the road, we also host round 5 of the 5by3MTB series. 5by3MTB is a local, grass roots MTB XC (cross country) winter race series, with the aim of encouraging riders to have a go at racing and maybe progress onto regional and national level races.

Also away from the road, we have the Elmy Cycles Eastern Cyclocross League. Cyclocross is a rapidly growing sport in the UK, with Milton Keynes being selected to host a round of the 2014 World Cup (Essentially the first time the event has moved outside of continental Europe). Cyclocross runs from September until February.

Unfortuately, due to our location, we are not able to offer regular track cycling.
